Summary:
Federally recognized Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Indians is located in Central Minnesota, with over 61,000 acres of land located in seven counties. Mille Lacs currently has 3,292 enrolled members with approximately 1,654 living on or near the Reservation. Facilities include: Government Center, Corporate Commission Building, NayAhShing Schools, NayAhShing Clinic, Lake Lena Clinic, four community centers, two ceremonial buildings and the Woodlands National Banks. Soon to have a third ceremonial building and three assisted living complexes.

Band Member Entrepreneurial Development: A Small Business Development Program is managed by the Corporate Commission and provides: a loan program, technical assistance, education, resource library and contacts necessary in establishing and maintaining a successful business.
