Minnesota American Indian Chamber of Commerce
- January 2022
- Thank you for your interest in supporting the Minnesota American Indian Chamber of Commerce. Please consider joining MAICC and donating as we launch our 2022 Membership drive. Contact us for membership pricing.
- We understand COVID-19 has hit our businesses, non-profits and Tribal communities especially hard. YOUR Chamber has agreed to hold all pricing steady as we move forward in 2022.
- The Minnesota American Indian Chamber of Commerce is the oldest, continuously operated American Indian Chamber in the Country. It is our hope, with some help from our members and friends, that we can continue our operations. We have launched a fundraising campaign including 2022 membership dues and sponsorship requests. Please donate if you are able. Typically, the Annual Dinner financially helps us through the year.
- As we adapt to our new normal, we are immensely proud that we are Gathering with the Purchasing Power Initiative 2.0. The Initiative provides a free tool for Tribes to unite in their PURCHASING and realize their POWER managing their spend for all their individual and respective enterprises (Governments, Casinos, Clinics, Schools, etc.). This is also a significant achievement for our members as ALL American Indian Businesses, Artisans and Tribally owned businesses can register once and have access to RFPs from multiple tribes for $0.00 (seperate charge for background screening). Access is the first step for achieving new opportunities. Remember our ultimate goal is to credibly identify the spend of Tribal and American Indian owned businesses, governments and organizations so we may create successful economic development enterprises while maintaining each Tribe’s Sovereignty of information.
- The pandemic has exponentially proven the benefit of Tribes working together for joint purchasing opportunities. What if multiple Tribes would have been on board prior to the pandemic? What if they would have had an online system to put together a joint RFP for PPE, hand sanitizer, etc., vet vendors, and receive quality products at a competitive price? This could have been achieved within days. Safely. Virtually.
- We are progressing with the implementation and are excited for additional Tribes to join the initiative. We are available to provide the introduction and training virtually. We are working on keeping the momentum rolling. Experience the significance of the GATHER and what is possible when we work together!
- The Minnesota American Indian Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit 501(c)3 Corporation. Membership is open to both American Indian and non-American Indian businesses and individuals. The MAICC works to achieve entrepreneurial parity for American Indian businesses, non-profits, professionals, and Tribal communities by developing comprehensive asset-centered strategies focused on innovative ideas, alliances and partnerships that embrace technology, entrepreneurship, and economic development.
- The Minnesota American Indian Chamber of Commerce appreciates you, your support and look forward to GATHERING!!
